When cranes are on scope

Scope
What’s inside our crane-coordination scope.
- Lift plan. Crane capacity sizing against cargo weight, center of gravity, lifting points, reach, and ground bearing. Reviewed against manufacturer’s lift charts.
- Crane selection and sourcing. Mobile, crawler, rough-terrain, or tower. Chosen for the lift profile and the site footprint. Sourced through partner crane providers; LGX coordinates the scope, supervises execution.
- Rigging plan. Slings, shackles, spreader bars, lift beams, sling angles, attachment points, fall protection where applicable.
- Ground bearing review. Crane mat scope, soil bearing assessment where required, mat layout planning.
- Permits and approvals. Where local permits or municipal approvals are required for crane setup.
- Lift sequencing. Order of operations: set crane, set rigging, lift, swing, set cargo, derig.
- On-site supervision. A project lead present during the lift. Not a phone-call relay.
- Documentation. Lift plan signed, rigging sign-off, photos of the lift, sign-off from the customer’s site team.

In-house and partner capacity
Cranes are partner-deployed; LGX owns the coordination.
Crane assets are not on LGX’s balance sheet. They are sourced through vetted partner crane providers, selected for the cargo, the site, and the schedule. What LGX owns is the coordination: the plan, the sourcing, the on-site supervision, the integration into the project schedule, and the close-out. This is the right structure. Crane work is asset-heavy and project-specific; the buyer benefits from a coordinator who selects the right partner per scope rather than a forced fit to in-house equipment.
